About the Role
APNIC is a critical organization in the global Internet ecosystem, responsible for accurately delegating and registering IP addresses throughout the 56 economies in the fastest growing region in the world — the Asia Pacific.
We are a Member-based organization and our Members are spread over 56 economies. As our website is one of our key communication channels, we are looking for a website "master planner" who will gather and document web requirements across the organization, and understand the diverse functional requirements of our Members and other stakeholders. You will drive the strategic web plan and work with the team to provide our Members with a great online experience.
About You
In order to be successful you must have:
- A passion and talent for developing functional and interactive websites
- Information Architecture expertise
- A proven understanding of UX practices
- The ability to manage web projects and client expectations
- Experience in selecting/implementing/managing a CMS
We will also need to see:
- Front end coding experience to create responsive websites, landing pages, and emails
- Web app implementation experience: building RESTful web applications and interacting with APIs
- HTML5
- CSS / Sass
- JavaScript
And it would be nice to see:
- Libraries (Underscore.js, jQuery)
- AMD (Webpack, RequireJS)
- Frameworks (Backbone, AngularJS)
- Photoshop / Illustrator
- Node.js / NPM
- Task runners (Grunt, Gulp)
- GitHub / Bitbucket
